Stiffeners

Today, I had fond memories of my Synergy Air build class! Lots of cutting, forming, dimpling and deburring of the rudder stiffeners. My small Ryobi bandsaw and 3M polish wheel on the bench grinder got a solid workout all day.

Thank you, Team Rocket for the pre-drilled rudder skins and stiffeners! I am building the Mk3 version of the empennage. This test fit showed me what kind of shaping was going to be required.
Check out those newly shaped stiffeners! This is one side of the rudder so there should be another one around here somewhere…
