Back in the shop

As they say, life gets in the way and it has been a while since I have been in the shop to work on the Rocket. In the time off, I got a new compressor that is waaaay quieter than what I had been using but not as large as I was planning on. Perhaps some time in the future, I will find the space and money to upgrade to one that can run the air drill without turning on every 3rd or 4th hole.

I am continuing my work on the rudder, here drilling holes in the skeleton, using the pre-drilled holes in the skin as the guide. Lots of clamps and clecos hold everything in place.

Selfie time!
Side note, I sure miss that car!
The new compressor. Several other builders have spoken about how quiet and useful this compressor it. I agree but would really like to have a larger tank so that it doesn’t have to cycle so often.
